Cover Letter

I'm a self-motivated, self-starting and self-educated individual.  Six years ago I woke up and said "I want to make music."  I picked up some software online and, though difficult beyond belief, learned how to use it.  That's just how I am.  If it interests me, I won't stop until I know how to do "it" or learn "it" whatever "it" may be. 

 

My journey has brought me through many aspects surrounding digital entertainment.  I've learned how to use software ranging from Ableton Live for audio, to 3ds Max, Maya, Zbrush and Google Sketchup for asset creation.   I then took that knowledge to CryTeks CryEngine and started really making things come to life! 

 

Though I'm still new to CryEngine and "Next-Gen" technologies, level editing has been a paramount and fundamental drive for me ever since I was a kid playing "Command and Conquer, Red Alert".  I hardly ever played the game simply because I was too busy making new levels! 

 

Learning new technologies and keeping an open mind when learning new methods has  become "second-nature" to me over the course of the last few years, simply because of my drive to learn how to make music.

26 year old currently residing in Fresno, CA.  Self-employed audio engineer seeking to persue a dream of game design and development.  Long time gamer who's grown up on the legacy consols and old RTS styled computer games (Red Alert, Age of Empires, ect.)  Highly motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn.

Varied work experience, mostly in temporary or minimum wage jobs.  Recently had an opportunity to work with a local audio engineering company as a graphics designer and audio engineer.  Currently works independantly with several returning clients frequently to meet digital audio needs on time and to meet deadlines.

Currently working as a self-employed audio engineer.  Retained several frequent clients to which services are rendered.  These services usually include audio mixing (mixing vocals, drum patterns, synths together with precision accuracy) and mastering (fine tuning the final mix into a presentable piece to showcase or distribute.)  Other services do include graphics artwork.
